We Origins-code your file for you
What is it?
We licence Origins Appended Data to you for agreed purposes and for an agreed term. We process your file and append our data. We also provide you with our standard market profiles, giving you all you need to assess over- and under-indexing.
Who is it for?
Perfect for organisations with their own in-house analytical capability and who want to store the Origins codes in a database. This allows you to ask your own analytical questions when you want, and to create reporting and presentations in a style that suits the business need. As this is a ‘point-in-time’ solution, you may want to consider licensing Origins software, particularly if you have a high turnover of customers.
What needs to happen?
We both
- Execute a mutual Non-disclosure Agreement to protect your data and ours
- Agree the details for Licensing Origins Appended Data
- Define scope, specification of requirements and price.
You
Prepare a data file (normally MS Excel, csv, tab or pipe-delimited) comprising
- A unique identifier. This allows you to link back to your behavioural data allowing you to reveal even deeper insight
- A personal name (first or given)
- A family name (surname)
- A geographical indicator of usual residence eg a postcode or Suburb/State. This is optional, but when available, it activates the Enhanced Neighbourhood Insight feature to confirm and improve accuracy.
Send your data, encrypted and password-protected, to OriginsInfo. Alternatively, we attend at your premises to process your file on-site.
We
- Receive your data, assess its integrity, and format it for processing.
- Process your file and produce preliminary summaries.
What are the deliverables?
A data file in your preferred format comprising
- A unique identifier. This allows you to link back to your behavioural data allowing you to reveal even deeper insight
- An overall Origins CEL code
- A Personal Name Origins CEL code
- A Family Name Origins CEL code
- Other optional fields to be agreed including gender, estimated age, likely language, and confidence scores
In addition, we supply you with Origins profiles of Australia’s key markets. These include a National Origins profile, and profiles of States and Territories, and the key urban markets of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Additional profiles can be separately ordered at an extra cost.
You will also receive a look-up table referencing the 260 Origins CEL codes, the 25-level standard Origins Types classification, and any agreed further aggregation to suit your needs.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is determined by a combination of:
- Value – as measured by the number of customers (depth), and the range of products, services and touchpoints (breadth);
- Scope – use as a research/insight tool vs unrestricted use including deployment in business operations;
- Range – use across divisions or affiliates within large companies;
- Length of Licence – three-year commitments attract the best annual fee. Shorter term licences can be negotiated.
Indicatively, annual licence fees start at A$12,500 plus GST, per annum for small organisations, and range upwards to A$40,000 plus GST, per annum for Australia’s largest organisations.
